Call for Workshop Proposals

Following the MDM tradition, MDM 2013 workshops will provide participants with opportunities to discuss and explore emerging areas of mobile data management with fellow students, researchers, and practitioners. The goals of the workshops are to establish a common understanding of a certain aspect, to share experiences, foster research communities, learn from each other, identify open problems and/or explore directions for future research. Note that the workshops are expected to provide significant room for controversial and stimulating discussions. The organizers of the workshop should thus take care of planning the correct presentation format to enable such kind of lively interaction. The organizers of accepted workshops are required to announce the workshop and call for papers, solicit submissions, conduct the reviewing process, and decide upon the final workshop program.

Publication of accepted workshop papers will be through IEEE Computer Society. The page limits for accepted regular workshop papers are 6 pages, including all figures, tables, and references.
