If you get a train to get to Milan you will probably arrive to "Stazione centrale", the main railroad station in Milan. This is also an hub for local transportation served by 2 metro lines. You might also be interested in "Stazione cadorna", that connects to Malpensa Airport.

Milan is served by 3 metro lines, several lines of (sub)urban trains and a number of lines for tram and urban buses. If you want to travel within Milan you need to buy a ticket *before* getting on the bus or on the metro. You can find information about the ticket on the ATM website.

The conference venue is located in the very center of Milan, a few minutes on foot from the metro stations "Duomo" and "Missori". You can also get there with bus/tram lines 54 (stop "via Larga"), 94 (stop "via Sforza/ospedale Policlinico"), 12 or 15 (stop "via Larga).
